There are just SO MANY reasons to travel and so many ways that travel is good for you!

First, travel makes you a better teacher. Travel recharges your energy for teaching and brings wonder into your world. It expands your views, helps to remove bias, and helps you focus on what is important.

Travel makes you wise. Okay, maybe just traveling doesn't lead to wisdom, but learning about the people, culture, and history of a place can provide wisdom. Taking time to learn about the culture and meeting the people can really expand your outlook and along the journey, you'll learn more about yourself and your students.

You'll also learn about perspectives and forgiveness. These will lead to more tolerance and the wish to understand and know more about someone else. This can lead to a deeper appreciation for yourself and others.
